Kayaking in Mana and western French Guiana
Ouest Aventure takes you along the rivers and creeks of western French Guiana from Mana, with a guide who has known them for many years. Three options: on your own with a rental kayak, a guided day trip, or several days with nights in the forest.
Kayak rental
From €25 for a half day and €40 for a full day, to paddle the Mana river at your own pace. Weekend and weekly rentals are also available.
Guided day trips
The Mana rice fields and their thousands of birds, the Balaté and Colombo creeks near Saint-Laurent-du-Maroni, or the Yiyi wetlands between Sinnamary and Iracoubo.
2 to 4-day expeditions
Paddle down the Margot, Grand Laussat and Portal creeks, camp in the primary forest, and discover the wildlife, plants and local culture.
